Design of RAM 2500
Many configurations can be assembled for the 2017 RAM 2500. There are two bed lengths and three cab styles. There are eight trim levels available for the 2017 RAM 2500: Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Lone Star, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Limited, and Power Wagon. For a basic, capable workhorse, the Tradesman will oblige-it features steel wheels, a locking tailgate, vinyl upholstery and flooring, automatic headlights, and a 40/20/40-split front bench. The SLT adds on full power accessories, Bluetooth, keyless entry, an integrated trailer brake controller, a 5-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and power heated mirrors. The Big Horn offers alloy wheels, foglights, a limited-slip rear differential, a 10-way power driver seat, and a leather-coated steering wheel with integrated audio controls. The Lone Star is the Texan twin of the Big Horn. The Laramie will give you automatic climate control, a rearview camera, parking sensors in the front and rear, a heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker surround-sound audio system, leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated front bucket seats. The Laramie Longhorn includes a spray-in bedliner, running boards, remote ignition, wood interior and steering wheel trim, a navigation system, and heated rear seats. The Limited includes automatic high-beams, keyless entry and ignition, automatic wipers, and special black leather upholstery. The Power Wagon tacks on off-road capabilities such as skid plates, tow hooks, a manual transfer case, an electric winch, and more.
